First question we often get from someone unfamiliar with Unitarian Universalist Congregations is dress. At our Sunday services, you might see a few people dressed
more formally (if that's how they're comfortable), but the majority will be dressed much more casually. In warmer months, many will wear shorts. Jeans and t-shirts are common year-round.
Dress in what makes you feel the most comfortable.
Some additional explanation of events including what to expect from a Sunday service are available on the "Regular Events" page.
Our facility is now wheelchair-accessible at the front entrance due to a newly-installed ramp. Accessibility is also improved for those with limited mobility, but not requiring the use of a wheelchair. (Rear entrance remains accessible, but is usually locked for security.)
FM Assisted Listening System devices are available for those with hearing impairments.
For other accessibility questions, concerns, or accomodations, please contact the church office by email or phone (252) 355-6658. (TDD users, please use RelayNC-711)
