On March 27, 2014, UUCG became a Recognized Green Sanctuary and endeavored “to make every aspect of congregational life as sustainable and environmentally responsible as possible.” With the organizational skills of Reed Taylor, our president, and the advice of Feryl Masters, our all-things guru, we raised a whopping $50,000 for our UUCG Go Green Campaign. We now have fully operational solar panels and plans for the re-pavement of our parking lot for better drainage.
